shutterbabe: Prior to July fiasco, EAD is issued after regular FP; but I have not heard of separate FP to process EAD for Paperfiling cases. If you (have) efile(d) your AP, you will get a separate notice to FP for EAD without that your EAD will not be issued. I would advise you to take an inforpass appointment and discuss with I/O. At the worst case, you have them open a SR and take it from there.

How long can one stay unemployed on EAD? my pd is Nov2005 EB-2
I got laid-off on Monday I was on H1-b. The employer has notified USICS to withdraw the H1-B. But will not be revoking any GC related stuff. Was on H1-b Laid off 485 pending 180days+ have EAD :(

well the short answer is i like the light picture better. now i am sure that is not all your after is which one but also why. to me the photo is just jumping out at me more dark images have there place but for this particular type of image i think the lighter pictures lend better to flowers

Guys: I have invoked my AC21 and am a consultant PM though my LC mentions "Programmer/Analyst". I came to this country because it is a land of opportunity and have been in the US for over 9 years now. I can't let this stupid AC21 provisions of "Same or Similar occupation" scepter of fear stop me from moving forward.
I'm also looking for a Full-time job as a Manager and if I get it I intend on taking it in a heart-beat without worrying about the consequences. Hey, it's not like I'm doing something illegal but merely exercising my due growth in my career. So, I'm moving on and if something bad were to happen like a NOID or a RFE, I'm ready to pack my bags back home with a satisfaction that I was atleast in the driver's seat.
My 2 cents but please do what is right for you.

on 2nd july itself, USCIS received 55k applications(including family) and by 27th july the no rose to 75k.

here are the details:
when my employer got the RFE.. he asked me to send the following documents
# Previous company experience letters(from INdia)
#All Education certificates
# letter from the End client
# current resume
# w2 form
and he asked me to notarize all these documents. I sent all the requested documents except the end client letter, because my client said that its not their company policy to provide these type of letters.
There are two sub vendors between my client and employer. So I got a letter from one of the subvendor(he is in CA) that I am working in this company through them. In the letter he mentioned other sub vendor name also.
after sending these docs to USCIS ... My employer came back to me saying that he need more detailed documents.
# USCIS is doubting that I am working in CA not in NJ as the subvendor is from CA . But we provided the documents saying that I am working in NJ and I have filed my taxes from NJ only. I have my driving license from NJ.
# My employer filed H1b Amendment (filed in Aug 2007) saying that I work as a computer support specialist(eventhough I am working as a Systems Engineer) to support the salary pay. USCIS is saying that its not a H1B level job.
If I can tranafer my H1b to the main vendor , I will get a good pay and They can say I am working as Systems engineer which is h1b level job.
Can I transfer my H1 in this situation?. Please help.

Yes forwarded the copy to the lawyer this morning.I have an appointment with lawyer Friday morning regarding this..So for lawyer office didn't received anything from uscis.
Here is my backround
1)Worked for Company A from 2003 to 2008.
2)Company A applied I-140 and approved April 2006. AOS 485 filed on July 2007. Got EAD but never used it
3)September 2008 I have Joined employer “B” by transferring H1B (Valid until Aug 21st 2010).
4)Employer A revoked 140 which triggered 485 denials in October 2008.
5)Applied MTR and it was approved in NOVEMBER 2008 and 485 re-opened.
This is the only major concern I have.Though I have approved MTR and 485 re-opened, but my online status of 485 still showing denied.
My AP approved last month.......my wife EAD,AP approved last month.I am the primary..strange
I know I have moderate control over this situation.Just having good faith & hope.This whole thing H1-B,DL,GC,EAD,AP & visa stamping ..etc what a pain for some people.Very sad.For uscis error(485 denial wrongly) I am not only lost money( closee to 5k) also lost "n" no of days of sleep back in 2008 and now :mad:

My friend while leaving US he did not surrender the I-94 card. Actually he forgot it at home and the airlines allowed him to board plane without surrendering I-94. What should he do now? Guru's does any one have any experience with such situation? Please help
